I’ve gotten along with everyone at some point. I can have a coffee with a skinhead for example. I may not agree with most of what they believe, however, am I the one to change that? Individualism is my vibe. It’s not that I’m afraid to pick a group and fight for them while gathering an enemy, it’s just that I don’t care to. In the nicest way possible but I only have one life to live and I’m not going to spend it fighting for something that won’t matter in 100yrs.. well you as an individual won’t matter in a 100 yrs.. nobody will remember your name unless you pull off some significant miracle like MLK. I’m dumb right? Well… Besides protesting all day killing myself, I’ll enjoy the beach. Call me when you’re exhausted and need a break 🙂
I understand that without fighting, we wouldn’t be as free as we should be. I understand that without protests, we’d probably be enslaved by a government. I appreciate those that fight the fight. But it takes a LOT of insignificant people to even make any sort of mark. What I do here, won’t affect anything. So, let me do me and I’ll let you do you. But I’d definitely join in a fight before I have any serious rights taken away. I barely follow the law as it is, so not much as what the law says, I’ll even cooperate with. That’s how much of an individual I am. I won’t even let the police walk all over me. But, I’m also not out there stirring the pot. But, when I have people actually, literally, physically control me, you know I’d be a human and fight the fight, as well.
